MemoLeaf Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the MemoLeaf application (hereinafter referred to as "the Application") developed as a commercial service by SimpleAppsDev (hereinafter referred to as "the Service Provider").
1. Core Privacy Principle: Offline First
MemoLeaf adheres to the design philosophy of "Privacy First" and "Offline First". Our core functionality—organizing your photos through URI indexing and local metadata analysis—operates entirely on your device. We do not copy, upload, or store your original photos or videos on our servers.
2. Information Collection and Use
To provide a high-quality user experience, the Application processes the following types of data:
- Local Media Metadata: The Application indexes metadata from your local photos (capture time, EXIF location information, device model). This data is retained in the local database on your device and is used solely for album organization and timeline display.
- Location Data: The Application reads GPS tags from photo EXIF data to enable "Travel Templates". This is a local processing procedure. We do not track your real-time precise location through GPS sensors for marketing purposes.
- Optional Analytics Data (Pro Version): For Pro version users, we may collect minimal, anonymized crash reports or usage statistics (such as app version, device model) to improve stability. This does not include any personally identifiable information or your private content.
3. Third-Party Access
The Application integrates Google Play Services for:
- In-app purchases (Pro version one-time purchase)
- Application distribution and updates
These services may collect data according to their own Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data to any third-party intermediaries.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
- Local Data: All tags, comments, and album configurations are stored in a local SQLite/Isar database. Uninstalling the Application will delete this local database, unless you have manually backed it up.
- User Support Data: If you contact us via email, we only retain your email address and communication content to address your inquiry. You may request deletion at any time by contacting xsq1995123@gmail.com.
5. Children's Privacy
MemoLeaf does not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. Since all processing occurs locally, the Application is inherently safe for users of all ages.
6. Security
We prioritize the security of your local data by leveraging standard Android/iOS sandbox permissions. Since we do not maintain a cloud database of your photos, we eliminate the risk of remote data breaches of private images.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. If there are any changes, we will notify you by updating this page within the Application.
