- Books you add (title, author, cover image, total pages)
- Reading progress (current page, completion status, reading status)
- Reading sessions (duration, start and end time)
- Reading notes (text content and attached photos)
1.3 Device Information
For app optimization and troubleshooting:
- Device model and operating system version
- App version
1.4 Purchase Information
If you subscribe to BookTrail Pro:
- Subscription status and purchase history (managed by Google Play / App Store)
- We do not store your payment card or billing details
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the App's core features
- To sync your reading data across your devices
- To send reading reminder notifications (only if you enable them)
- To manage your Pro subscription status
- To respond to your support and feedback requests
- To ensure account security and prevent abuse

- Book covers and note photos are stored in private storage accessible only by you
- We retain your data for as long as your account is active

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
We may share data only in the following circumstances:
- With the third-party service providers listed above, solely to operate the App
- When required by applicable law or legal process
- To protect the rights and safety of our users
6. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You have the right to:
- Access — View all your personal data within the App
- Correct — Edit your account information and reading data at any time
- Delete — Remove individual books, notes, or reading records in the App; or delete your entire account and all associated data via Profile → Settings → Delete Account
- Opt-out of notifications — Disable push notifications in your device settings at any time

7. Permissions Used

8. Audience
BookTrail is available to users of all ages. If the user is a minor, we recommend using the App under parental or guardian guidance.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through an in-app notice. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last revised. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
