xpet Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the xpet application developed by SimpleAppsDev.

1. We Do Not Collect Any Data

xpet does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or usage data. We have no servers and no backend that receives data from the app.

2. Local Storage

xpet stores the following data locally on your device, inside the app's sandbox container:

• Your app preferences (such as selected pet, behavior settings, and window state), via UserDefaults.
• Pet packages you import, saved under the app's Application Support directory.

This data never leaves your Mac.

3. Network Access

The xpet app itself does not make network requests. The app contains links (for example, "Get More Pets") that open https://codex-pets.net/ in your default browser when you tap them. Opening those links is your choice, and any data exchanged is governed by your browser and the destination site.

4. In-App Purchases

xpet offers a one-time in-app purchase for a lifetime membership. All purchases, payments, receipts, and refunds are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment information, Apple ID, or any personally identifying purchase data. The app only reads your purchase entitlement locally to unlock features.

5. Third-Party Services

xpet does not use any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising services, or crash reporters.

6. Children's Privacy

xpet does not knowingly collect personal information from users of any age. Because all processing is done locally and no data is transmitted, the app is inherently safe for all users.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating this page and its "Last Updated" date.
